Lucky 7s - Musicians

Vibraphonist Jason Adasiewicz is currently a member of Rob Mazurek's Exploding
Star Orchestra and Quintet, as well as the Guillermo Gregorio Trio. He has performed with Jeff Parker, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Axel Dorner, John Herndon, Mary Oliver, Charlie Kohlhase, and Ken Vandermark. Jason composes for his quintet Rolldown.

Co-leader Jeff Albert plays trombone and tuba with the Lucky 7s. He leads his own New Orleans based quartet/quintet, and performs with Michael Ray and the Cosmic Krewe, the Naked Orchestra, Martin Krusche's Magnetic Ear, and the New Orleans New Music Ensemble.

Cornetist Josh Berman has collaborated with Fred Lonberg-Holm, Ab Baars, Guillermo
Gregorio, and Jeff Parker. He has also performed as a member of Rob Mazurek's Exploding Star Orchestra and Ken Vandermark's Crisis Ensemble. He is co-leader of the Chicago Luzern Exchange, whose debut recording, "Several Lights," appeared on Delmark Records in 2005.

Trombonist and co-leader Jeb Bishop first gained international recognition as a member of the Vandermark 5 and Peter Brotzmann's Chicago Tentet. He currently performs and records with several active bands, including The Engines, Atomic / School Days, and the Jeb Bishop Trio, and maintains a busy schedule of ad hoc projects and improvised encounters.

Bassist Matthew Golombisky is the instigator behind the Tomorrow Music Orchestra, and a member of QMR+. He has also performed with Ed Petersen, Simon Lott, James Alsanders and Will Thompson.

Keefe Jackson plays tenor sax and bass clarinet. His collaborators have included Aram Shelton, Tim Daisy, Jim Baker, Anton Hatwich, and Frank Rosaly. Keefe is featured on Chicago Luzern Exchange's "Several Lights" (Delmark) and on "A Rare Thing," by the 774th Street Quartet (Bloody Murder Records). Keefe Jackson's Fast Citizens, "Ready Everyday" was recently released on Delmark.

Drummer Quin Kirchner is Matt's rhythm section mate in QMR+ as well as in the Lucky 7s. Quin was a member of the Jeff Albert Quartet, and has performed with Ellis Marsalis, James Singleton, and Daniele D'Agaro.
